  Welcome to the website of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Fisheries, Rural Transformation, Industry & Labour.
The Ministry is the institutional body of the state responsible for the 
formulation, articulation and implementation of all policies and plans relating to Agriculture, Forestry, Fisheries, Rural Transformation, Industry & Labour. 
The administrative arm of this Ministry is responsible for:
   - The co-ordination of all programmes of the various Departments, Divisions and Units.
  - The maintenance of communication with local, regional and international bodies affecting the functions of the Ministry.
  - The administration of revenue and expenditure transactions approved by Parliament.

More than 100 local traditional cannabis cultivators benefited from training in best practices cultivation on Tuesday, 18th February, 2020, as the Medicinal Cannabis Authority (MCA) continues to ensure that this group of investors stay ahead of the game and are better placed to benefit from the licit production of medicinal cannabis in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

Green Lava Labs, a Medicinal Cannabis Cultivation Company was launched here in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines on Friday, 15th November, 2019.

Local Fisherman and President of the National Fisher Folk Organization, Winsberth Harry, has won the 2019 Gulf and Caribbean Fisheries Institute (GCFI) Gladding Memorial Award.
