Vincentians have been assured that the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Fisheries, Rural Transformation, Industry & Labour; is working with agricultural co-operatives across the country, to ensure food security, during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
Some forty thousand (40,000), tree crops will be distributed to farmers across the country during this year.
It is often said that, "God will not give us more than we can bear”. The agriculture sector in the Caribbean can be hopeful, even amidst the avalanche of seemingly insurmountable challenges. A united approach to regional agriculture is the only way we can keep hope alive.
