The Ministry is the institutional body of the state responsible for the
formulation, articulation and implementation of all policies and plans relating to Agriculture, Forestry, Fisheries, Rural Transformation, Industry & Labour.
The administrative arm of this Ministry is responsible for:
- The co-ordination of all programmes of the various Departments, Divisions and Units.
- The maintenance of communication with local, regional and international bodies affecting the functions of the Ministry.
- The administration of revenue and expenditure transactions approved by Parliament.
Climate Change Project
A community group is collaborating with the Public Health and Forestry Departments to implement a pilot project geared towards climate change mitigation and adaptation.

The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Fisheries, and Rural Transformation, has taken the Agri-Export Strategy Initiative to another level.
Farmers To Receive Direct Air Access To Overseas Buyers
Hon. Saboto Caesar, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry, Fisheries and Rural Transformation, said that farmers in St. Vincent and the Grenadines will soon have direct air access to take their produce overseas to buyers in a timely manner.
